New Modern Fireplace

Just a short post.  I just finished making this modern battery operated fireplace.  It doesn't have wood to burn but rather clear crystals.  I got the flicker fire bulbs and coin cell battery pack from Evans Designs.  It's so easy to use!

Happy Miniing and have a great weekend!

  4. Hi! Love all of your work! :) Modern mini's are my favourite! I like to imagine myself living in the space I am creating, rather than people of the past!
    I just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for a blog award called the Liebster Award. It's been flowing through the mini communities and is dedicated to blogs that have under 200 followers
    You can see the nomination post on my blog here;

    1. Yes.LOL! I will put it in a room. I do have a tendancy to make things and not use them in a scene.

  6. Hello you have a unique modern style that only a few miniaturists, I think anyway, have. The design on the sides of the fireplace show motion and really give vitality to it. I can always tell a mini piece of furniture is yours when I see it elsewhere; you are a truly gifted modern mini designer! Perhaps one day, students of design will study what we miniaturists are creating, the way they now study Eames and others. Then, I am sure they will say, "that's a Cyd piece, amazing isn't it!"
